The ants never fully left but I didn't make matters any better. My super yummy body scrubs I'm sure contribute to the new ants I find in or around my bathtub.
Today's pintest comes via this pin and the information found here which I combined with this pin info and the info found right there on the pin.
It all begins with two empty baby food jars.
Which I partially filled.
With Borax.
Then I sweetened the deal for the ants.
With a little sugar.
And just to make sure the smell should be irresistible to the little buggers.
I added some maple extract.
Add a little water.
Shake it up.
Using a hammer and nail.
Add some holes to your trap.
I've placed one in the bathtub and one in the bathroom floor. Here's hoping this works.
Hello, new friend!
ReplyDeleteI saw you linked up your site on the Deep Roots at Home page, and I am so glad to ‘meet’ you. I like what you are doing here on your blog and hope we can follow each other to be a mutual blessing ~ It is so much fun and encouraging to get to ‘know’ new like-minded gals! Grace and peace…
BTW, I would like to invite you to consider linking-up every Wednesday thru Tuesday on the Deep Roots at Home ‘EOA’ Link-Up. You can gain more exposure there. It would be neat to see you as a regular there each week
