All my baby food traps did was attract tons of ants.

So I poured the mixture into a bowl, put it into the bath tube, and waited. This attracted nothing. Maybe it's because I sprayed the shower down with some 7th Generation all-purpose cleaner. I'm not sure.

The ants never fully left but I didn't make matters any better. My super yummy body scrubs I'm sure contribute to the new ants I find in or around my bathtub.

It all begins with two empty baby food jars.

Which I partially filled.

With Borax.

Then I sweetened the deal for the ants.

With a little sugar.

And just to make sure the smell should be irresistible to the little buggers.

I added some maple extract.

Add a little water.

Shake it up.

Using a hammer and nail.

Add some holes to your trap.

I've placed one in the bathtub and one in the bathroom floor. Here's hoping this works.

Fleas Part III

Despite our best efforts the fleas, are still here. They aren't as bad. Maybe the dog picked them back up over the holiday while she stayed on the family farm. Who knows.

I'm building up my supply of essential oils to pintest a flea spray.
